!Hola, amigos!!! (Hey there, y'all!) :) :).... So good to see your postings once again! We've been out of town for several weeks and I've missed logging on. .... Love the pictures--not surprised to see that they were taken at the southern Mecca (Cracker Barrell)!! Maybe I can call Pam's cell after the boys leave when I know you'll be sitting down with your feet up!! It will be good to catch up! Love you both. You're always in our prayers!! .. Cindy & LG :) :) xxoo
John 8:12 The Light of Jesus is the only light that shines in this dark world. I came accross your blog while researching this Cancer Clinic in Mexico. I have a 81 year old Aunt that has stage 4 ovarian cancer and chemo has not worked. Her 70 year husband and her are considering going there. My wife and I are strong christains, but my aunt is not and has been confused by cults and false teachings. So of course my major worry is this clinc is a fraud and a money racket. Is it illegit? Ultimately if my Aunt Kathryn came and there were some Christian influence there and they witnessed to her the true Peace and Joy of Jesus, even in the face of Cancer and death, hopefully she would open her heart to Christ and His grace. Then it would be worth it all. But to pack up a 81 year lady who is weak from chemo and in Stage 4 cancer, drive to Mexico from Tennessee, is a great risk and a very heavy burden. Is this clinic and treatment worth a try? Is there a Christian influence?
Are there any updates? I don't know Virgil and Pam, but I started reading your blog for information for my Mom who is battling lung cancer and now I'm hooked. I've loved all the posts and have been truly blessed by your faith, courage and humor in the midst of your trial. My prayers are with you both. Godspeed.
"Because he loves me," says the Lord, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation."
"Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty Hand, that He may lift you up in due time. Cast all of your anxiety on Him because He cares for you."
